Status of Current Tasks

Plover

• Automatically Show Shorter Definitions (possibly port and fold in StenoTray to be integrated with Plover)
• Support More Proprietary Protocols; e.g., Stenoram, Palantype, Flash, and Diamante
• Port Plover to Android (Brent)

Steno Learning Systems

• Upload more songs to Steno Hero Alpha and improve scoring system
• Port Fly to Windows/Mac
• Update Steno Typer with canonical word list from Fly
• Raise funding to develop Hover Plover (This will probably involve a Kickstarter campaign at some point, possibly after the Plover community is a little bit larger)
• Add more practice material to Steno 101 (Mirabai. Input from other users and steno students is very welcome. Possibly adapt material from Stenotypy: The Machine Way?)
• Improve Plover Wiki by adding more tips, tricks, and reference material (e.g., Plover Guide to html)

Hardware

• Raspberry Pi Plover Keyboard (Hien. In Progress.)
• Write illustrated guide for proper placement of laser-cut keytoppers[1]

Promotion

• Recruit more steno newbies to Aviary
• Make videos showing Plover in use
• Approach advocacy groups for potential users with speech disabilities
